Guide: Transferring Playlists from Deezer to Apple Music: Guide
Deezer is a useful music streaming app, but I like Apple Music more. Apple’s editors do a great job of recommending music, and their playlists are usually excellent. I am returning to Apple Music after experimenting with many music streaming apps for the past few weeks. Since I use YouTube so often, I decided to keep the YouTube Premium account that also gives me access to YouTube Music. Well, I’m not the only one who has two music streaming apps, right? I’ve discovered a few good songs while using Deezer that are now neatly organized in my playlists. To transfer my playlists from Deezer to Apple Music, I have a few web and mobile apps I’m sharing below. It will help you too. Let’s start.
1. Soundiiz
Soundiiz is a popular web app that works with many music streaming services, including some lesser known ones such as Playzer and Audiomack. Open the site via the link below and click Start now button Visit Soundiiz
Use your social media account to log in quickly.
Once inside, scroll a bit to find and click on the transfer button
Select the Playlists option.
Select Deezer as your source and log in to grant the necessary permissions.
Select the playlists you want to transfer and click Confirm and continue.
Here you can change the title and description, remove duplicate songs and set the playlist as private or public. Click Save Configuration when you are done.
You can remove songs from the playlist that you don’t want to transfer here. Click Confirm Track List when you are done.
Now choose Apple Music as your destination and log in.
The transfer should start immediately and you will see the playlists in your Apple Music app. If you can’t sign in to your Apple account in Chrome, use the Firefox browser and make sure you have an active Apple Music subscription and the iCloud Music Library option is turned on in Music under Settings.
The pro version of Soundiiz will cost you $ 3 per month and let you keep playlists in sync between music apps and transfer other music related data like favorites, full albums, and so on.
2. Stamp
Stamp supports a limited number of music apps, but you can use it on almost any app mobile or desktop operating system. The interface is easy to use and the process remains more or less similar to Soundiiz. For this guide, I will be using an iPhone. Open Stamp and select Deezer as your source. Log into your account. Buy a stamp
Now select Apple Music as your destination. As mentioned before, don’t forget to turn on iCloud Music Library in Music under Settings.
You can now select your playlists and start the transfer process by clicking Next.
Stamp will only transfer ten songs from a single playlist in the free version. The paid version will cost you $ 9.99 for one platform and $ 14.99 for all platforms.
3. SongShift
SongShift is an iOS app, so if you are not an iPhone user, move on to the next point. Download the app from the link below and tap Connect Your Music to select Deezer as your source. Download SongShift
In the same screen you can also link your Apple Music account.
Once both services have been added, tap the ‘+’ icon again to select Setup Source, where under Deezer choose Playlist.
Now select your playlists you want to transfer and tap Set Destination on the next screen.
From here, select Apple Music and you can choose to create a new playlist or merge the songs with an existing one. I have selected a new playlist. Tap I’m ready to start the transfer process.
SongShift pro costs $ 3.99.
4. Tune my music
Tune My Music, like Soundiiz, supports many music streaming apps and is web app only. Let’s see how it works. Click on Let’s Start button Visit TuneMyMusic
Select Deezer as your source and log into your account.
Enter the URL of your playlist, if you have one, or select your playlist manually.
You can select some or all playlists here.
Click on Apple Music to select it as your destination and log in.
Review your preferences and click Move My Music to start the process.
Tune My Music is free to use and I haven’t seen any adverts.
Move with the music
Moving playlists from one music streaming app to another is quite easy when using any of the services listed above. Transferring playlists takes a few minutes, depending on the number of songs and playlists you have. While all free services have a catch, it is up up to you to see which of them is manageable.
