While you won’t need to increase the ISO sensitivity as much if you are shooting outdoors during the day, high-sensitivity photography is likely to be a powerful tool when shooting indoors. The Panasonic FZ300 has the same internals as the FZ200, but the exterior is very different and has been greatly improved. It has additional controls, is dustproof and splashproof, and has a larger body. The electronic viewfinder and rear LCD display have also evolved. The electronic viewfinder has higher resolution and magnification, and the articulated 3.0″ touch panel LCD monitor is sharper and brighter. When we used the Panasonic FZ300, the improved electronic viewfinder worked very well and provided crisp, clear images. The FZ300 uses Panasonic’s latest autofocus system, which allows for continuous shooting at up to 12 fps. Capable of continuous shooting at 12 fps with single AF and 6 fps with continuous AF, the FZ300 can shoot 30p 4K/UHD video as well as high quality 8MP still images using the dedicated 4K Photo mode.
