How to Use Home Screen Widgets on your iPad – Guide
If you’re already using iPadOS 14, you can take advantage of the Today View widgets that can be placed on the Home screen. When you’re in the main Home screen, swipe inwards from the left side of the screen and the Today window should appear with its widgets. If you scroll to the bottom of the Today view, you will see the Edit option button. Tapping on it will give you the option to pin widgets to the home screen, which is a good solution until you can upgrade to iPadOS 15. The difference with the latter is that you can place widgets on different screens. That way, you can create themed pages instead of having all the widgets in one place.
