But they can also be used on your PC. The Google Fonts website gives you access to download these fonts in .zip file. It’s all about the look and feel. You can use these fonts in all Microsoft Office applications and even image editing software such as Photoshop. So let’s take a look at how to install Google Web Fonts on your Windows 10 PC. You can achieve this in 2 ways.
1. Install Google Fonts manually
Go to the Google Web Fonts website. You will find a scrollable font list with the live preview. Now choose the ones you like and add them to your collection. The collection here is like a shopping cart where you can collectively download fonts or use them on your website. Click Add to collection button on each font panel.
Now that you add the fonts to your collection, a new panel will open up where you can see the collected fonts.
Check your fonts here and delete the ones that are not needed. Now click on the Usage tab in the top right corner of this panel. Here you can choose other styles of the fonts, including bold and italic.
After you’re done with that, click on the download icon at the top.
Here you will be given the option to download the files in a .zip folder. Click on the link and the download will start.
Extract the zip file and install the fonts. Right-click the .ttf file and click Install from the options.

2. Install Google Fonts with third-party software
We use SkyFonts to download Google Web Fonts on your PC. In addition to downloading the fonts, SkyFonts also automatically updates the fonts when a new update is available. Go to their website, download SkyFonts and install it. It’s freeware. So now you need an account from their website Now you need an account on their website so make sure you have one. You must log in for the software to work. The fonts are synchronized from your web account to the desktop client. To download the fonts through this client, you will need to add them to your collection from their website. It’s the same link where you can browse Google Fonts.
Click Browse Google Fonts. You should get a popup with the list of all Google fonts.
Click on SkyFonts and add it to your SkyFont collection.
You can choose to add the entire family of the specific font, including all styles. You will be notified that the fonts are installed on the desktop client.
