And now that iOS 15 brings with it the ability to find your phone even if the battery has run out or been disconnected, Find My’s usefulness has become even greater. After that, if you can’t find your iPhone, you can track it using the Find My app on a Mac (or other iPhone, if you have one) or in any browser by going to iCloud.com/find and signing in with your Apple ID. Select the dot and then the circled “i” (for information), and you will have the option to have your phone play a sound by deleting it or putting it into “Lost Mode”. In “Lost Mode”, you can enter a phone number where you can be reached and a message (“Please return this phone as soon as possible!”). After that, the phone will be locked until you re-enter the password. And yes – if you’re using iOS 15 on your iPhone, you can find it even if it runs out of battery or is turned off.
