How to farm hidden caches fast in Aliens – Guide
Aliens: Fireteam Elite is billed as an infinitely playable third-person shooter, and the challenge card system plays a role in that. They can be found in secret hiding places in the game’s missions or obtained from Endeavor’s arsenal. These aren’t the only good things that can be found in hidden caches. You’ll also find cosmetic accessories and treats in these chests if you’re looking for them. each mission features a secret spawn cache, but never in the same location, making farming operations a little more difficult. Fortunately, there is one run that is currently the most effective in the game if you want to gather as many hidden caches as possible as quickly as possible. Here is what you should do.
How to quickly grow hidden caches in Aliens: Fireteam Elite
Usually, when you think about looting, you’ll be thinking about killing the same boss over and over again or running the same part of a level to get a chest or something like that. Unfortunately, there is no guaranteed way to get a hidden cache quickly every time. Your spawns are reduced to RNG, but a cache will appear on each mission. The only way to ensure you get one every time is to play through the entire mission. But that’s not very fast. Fortunately, there is an in-game execution that can speed up up your acquisition of hidden caches. The quest in question is in Act 2, and is the third quest called Giants on Earth: Evacuate. You will have to reach this level first by completing the previous missions. You can run this with casual difficulty if you like, and it doesn’t really matter which class you use as you’ll be dodging all enemies and completing the race as fast as possible. Also, don’t apply any challenge cards because you won’t complete the quest. Here are the exact steps to follow. Once you get the hidden cache or see that it’s not there at the top of the stairs, you need to abandon the quest. Do this from the main menu, go to the Settings tab and click on Abandon Mission. and then the big red button in the middle. You will then spawn back in Endeavor. This entire run takes no more than 30 seconds, and at least on Xbox Series X, Series S, PS5, and PC, load times aren’t too bad when you try to load and then abandon the mission. On high-end consoles, you’ll have a little more time to wait. The hidden cache won’t always be there, but since this runtime is short, it’s the most efficient way to farm them. It can also be quite profitable, with a 10-minute spell doing this execution, getting three hidden caches. Likewise, you haven’t gotten any in that time, but so far it hasn’t happened up empty for me without running it for a particularly long time.
Alternative hidden cache, even new players can cultivate
If you’re a new player in the game, there’s an alternate hidden cache that you can farm to on the first mission. It’s not that fast and in my experience it hasn’t been that profitable either, but if you’re looking to get an edge early on, it might be worth spending a little time on it. Once loaded on the first mission, see what to do. That’s all there is to it. You’ll need a little luck from the RNG gods for any of these methods you use, but it won’t take long or require you to get involved with any enemies. After unlocking the final mission in Act 2, this is definitely the only one to be used, but the first mission can earn you some tasty rewards too.
