Before you can use transcripts in a Teams meeting, you or an admin must enable them through the Microsoft 365 or Office 365 admin console. To do this, open and sign in to the Microsoft Teams admin center. In the left pane, select Meetings and then Meeting Policies. Assuming you want to enable transcripts for everyone in your organization, select the policy for Global (default for the entire organization). On the settings screen, look for the Recording and Transcription section, enable the option for transcription and click Save at the bottom. Keep in mind that it can take several hours or more for the policy change to propagate throughout the organization.
