Recently, the Electoral Commission of India introduced the “e-EPIC” (Electronic Electoral Photo Identity Card), a non-editable and secure PDF version of the Electoral Photo Identity Card (EPIC) which is equally valid. e-EPIC is a secure PDF (Portable Document Format) version of EPIC that can be downloaded for mobile phones or in self-printing form for computers. A voter can save the card on their mobile phone, load it into Digi Locker as a PDF or print and laminate it. This is in addition to the PCV EPIC that is currently being released. The Electoral Commission has launched the “e-EPIC” (Electronic Photo Identity Card), a non-editable and secure PDF version of the Electoral Photo Identity Card (EPIC). e-EPIC is a PDF (Portable Document Format) version of EPIC that can be downloaded for mobile phones or in self-printing form for computers. A voter can thus keep the card in his mobile phone upload to Digi Locker or print and laminate them yourself. This is in addition to the PCV EPIC issued for a new registration.
