Click the File menu and under Save As, click the Save as PDF or Download as PDF option. I’m seeing the latter because I’m using OneDrive Word. If you’re using the desktop version, you should see the Save option instead.
Troubleshoot the printer
Windows 10 comes with a troubleshooting option. You can use it to troubleshoot and fix errors with built-in apps and services including printers. Press the Windows key + I shortcut to open Settings and search for ‘Find and fix printing problems’. Here, click Advanced to select Apply repairs automatically and select Next. The system will now search for known issues and apply a fix, if applicable. Then follow the instructions on the screen.
Turn off Background Printing
Open Word file and click Options under the File menu. Here you need to disable the Background Printing option under the Advanced tab. Save the changes and try if Word Print works or not.
Update drivers
Find and open Device Manager and double-click the Printer option to expand it. Right-click on the printer name to select the Update Driver option. Your computer will search for driver updates and install them if there are any. You can also visit the manufacturer’s website to download and install the latest version.
