Do not install the tool in the Dropbox location. The tool does not need to be closed to sync your notes. To sync a note, just choose Save As and place the note in a Dropbox subfolder. Choose Open to open it elsewhere and select the note in the Dropbox location. Dropbox and Cintanotes must, of course, both be installed on the devices you want to access your notes on.
