How to Change wallpapers in Microsoft Teams
There are two things you can do with your background. For starters, you can blur your background, blurring your surroundings and emphasizing your view. The other uses a virtual background. As of now, the feature is not available on the internet and mobile app. Currently only Windows and macOS desktop clients are supported. Open the app and connect or make a video call. Click the three-dot menu icon that will say More actions when you hover the mouse pointer over it and select Background Effects.
The first option is the blur, but as you scroll further you’ll find many more options including offices, parties, Minecraft and a few more. The choices are limited. That said, I’ve put together a list of resources where you can find cool wallpapers for Microsoft Teams (check out the next section).
Click on Preview button to see what it looks like before applying it so that the rest of the participants will notice it too. Pro Tip Turn off your video before joining a meeting to prevent anyone from seeing your real background. It may take a few seconds to select and apply a new background. How to Add custom backgrounds to teams
You can download the coolest wallpapers, but how do you use them? Unlike Zoom, there is no direct way to upload these background images to Microsoft Teams. Fortunately, there is a smart solution you can follow. Windows users will have to navigate to the folder structure below to save your downloaded or customized background images. % APPDATA% MicrosoftTeamsBackgroundsUploads Mac users will have to follow this folder structure to place the background images. ~ / Library / Application Support / Microsoft / Teams / Wallpapers Note: You may need to set a wallpaper before creating the necessary folders. This solution is for people who cannot navigate to the above folder structure. Set the wallpaper and try again. Let’s take a look at a few resources to get your hands on some cool custom wallpapers.
1. WallpaperHub
WallpaperHub offers a number of wallpapers that come from various image hosting sites. You will find a collection of wallpapers for Microsoft Teams divided into different categories such as expo hall, grumpy cat, Tiger King, Star Wars, Pixar and more.

An entire site dedicated to collecting and showcasing some of the best Microsoft Teams wallpapers on the web. I found some really cool graffiti pictures home and office designs, MCU and DCEU images, and even some old but iconic and funny cartoon characters.

NASA offers a collection of wallpapers for Zoom and Teams video conferencing apps. These are high-quality images of our solar system and of some galaxies far, far away.

Not to be outdone, the BBC took things wild with the release of some HD footage of Mother Nature.

5. Canva
Canva is an excellent cloud-based image editor that we always use at GT. They include a huge collection of templates, elements and background images for all occasions. Below is a link to the virtual background templates for Teams.
